F700 delivers higher performance at a local Bakery

Newton Tesla Electric Drives Ltd were commissioned to build and supply five F700 110kW Inverter drive systems for Northwich based bakery.

Control Panel (open) The first inverter system, based around the NEW Mitsubishi Electric F700 drive, was installed on one of their large dough Mixer systems back in February 2005.

Fitting of the variable speed control inverter drives, instead of the previous Direct-On-Line starters was a complete success.

The customer found that by using variable speed control provided by the F700 drives, and in particular the ability to slow the speed of the mixers down - the flour mixture absorbs the water more thoroughly, and their finished loaf has a much better consistency and whiter texture.

They also found that by slowing the mixer down when the dough is about to be ejected, throws the dough into the bowl more cleanly, and thus preventing any dough trails and residue from the mixer tub to the bowl.

Three other Mitsubishi F740 110kW drives have now been installed on their other APV and Turkington Mixers.
