Our workshop facilities at Newton Tesla include, computer controlled 'DYNANOMETER' load testing and load cycling apparatus for AC & DC variable speed drives of up to 110kW, enabling thorough examination and testing of variable speed drives that enter through our workshops.
On site servicing is also available for drives of up to 1,000kW, which can considerably minimize plant downtime, and loss of production costs.
We also boast an invaluable 24-hour breakdown cover for service repairs outside normal working hours.
All products sold by Newton Tesla are fully supported by our comprehensive spares parts service, and we have an extensive range of spares for most makes and types of obsolete drives.
Our engineers are experienced in providing the right product support and in-depth knowledge for your applications, which include; Drive System support, drive repairs and servicing, modification & commissioning of existing plant.
As a BS EN ISO9001 registered company, all repairs coming into and leaving our works are subject to a strict booking in, examination, and quotation process before commencing the repair.
We have the capability for repairing AC and DC drives right down to a component level, and all repairs are subjected to complete functional testing on our Dynamometer load units.
Once complete, the repaired drives are returned, along with a full service analysis report, in heat sealed plastic film bags - so that whenever the customer comes to install and use them, the intact seal gives the confidence that the drive is in as repaired condition.
